Art Basel Miami Beach brings collectors, gallerists, artists and their teams to Miami at the same time. During Miami Art Week, which runs from November 30 to December 6, 2026, hotel rooms fill up, rates rise and groups end up scattered across different floors or even different buildings.
There is a better way to stay. A private villa gives your group one address, shared spaces to meet and the privacy that art week rarely offers. At Dynasty Luxury Rentals, we have spent 18 years arranging luxury stays, cars and yachts in Miami. This guide explains why a villa works so well for Art Basel, how to choose one by group size and what to know before you book.
Why rent a villa for Art Basel instead of a hotel
A hotel works for a solo trip. For a group, a villa changes the entire week.
- Everyone under one roof: your group stays together instead of booking several rooms that may not even be on the same floor.
- Space to meet and host: living rooms, terraces and dining areas become the place to review the day, meet a client or relax after the fair.
- Privacy: no shared lobbies or hallways, which matters when your guests include collectors or high-profile visitors.
- A kitchen of your own: every mansion includes a fully equipped kitchen, so early breakfasts and late dinners happen on your schedule.
Every property also includes cleaning service, fresh linens and Wi-Fi. Pool and concierge service vary by property, so check each listing for the details.
Where to stay in Miami for art week
The main fair takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, while galleries, satellite fairs and private events spread across the city. Our luxury mansion and villa collection covers Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, and several listings are identified by neighborhood:
- Wynwood: the Wynwood House puts you in the heart of the city’s arts district, where many galleries and parties take place during art week.
- Downtown Miami: the Gale Hotel and Residences property places you close to the bay and a short drive from Miami Beach.
- Brickell: the Townhouse Brickell is ideal if your week also includes business meetings in the financial district.
- Aventura: the Aventura Apt is a quieter base to the north, with easy access to the beaches.
- Fort Lauderdale: the Villa Modern, with 4 bedrooms, is convenient if your group flies into Fort Lauderdale.
Most of our villas are listed by name and size rather than neighborhood. When you request a quote, tell us where your events are, and our team will recommend the properties that fit your schedule.

Choosing a villa by group size
The right villa depends on how many people you are bringing and how many bedrooms they need. Capacity varies by property, and the figures below come from each listing.

- Villa Tal: 7 bedrooms and up to 18 guests, with 6,100 square feet of living space.
- Villa Lova: 7 bedrooms and up to 16 guests, with 9,125 square feet of living space, the largest interior among our listings with full details.

Hosting during art week
Art Basel is also a week of private gatherings. Dynasty offers luxury mansions and villas for events, photo shoots and group stays, so a villa can double as the setting for a collectors’ dinner or a gallery reception. If you plan to host, include it in your quote request along with your dates and guest count, so we can recommend a property that allows it.
Add a car or yacht to your stay
Your villa is the base, but art week happens across the city. Dynasty brings cars, yachts and mansions together under one concierge, so you can plan the whole week in a single conversation.
- An exotic car or luxury SUV: delivery is included to private residences, so the car can be waiting at your villa. See our guide to booking your Art Basel car early for the models that fit the week.
- A private yacht: close the week on Biscayne Bay. Every charter includes a licensed captain and crew, with a 4-hour minimum. Browse every vessel on our yacht rental page.
- A chauffeured ride: for evenings with several events, a limousine with a professional chauffeur keeps your group together, with a 3-hour minimum for most vehicles.
Minimum nights and how to book early
Most of our villas have a 3-night minimum stay. During high season, specific mansions may require a 7-night minimum, so confirm the requirement for your dates when you request a quote.
A security deposit is required. The amount varies by property, and it is fully refundable within 7 days after check-out, pending a property inspection.
Because the largest villas are limited and art week concentrates demand into a few days, follow these steps:
- Book as soon as your dates are set: the villas for 16 to 20 guests are the first to go.
- Share your guest count and bedrooms needed: it narrows the options right away.
- Tell us where your events are: we will suggest the properties that make the week easier.
- Bundle your car and yacht: planning everything together avoids last-minute gaps.
